and Amador counties, wineries, antiques, cave and mine tours
abound. If a little gambling is on your itinerary,
Jackson Rancheria is
25 minutes up the road.
If you'd like to add a little adventure to your trip, you can add
horseback riding lessons, or even sign up to be a cowgirl for a day and
work alongside well-known horse trainer

Cowgirl Up Ranch is here to be your Base
Camp. Bring your horses and set up camp! With 3 major
trailheads within minutes trailer ride from the ranch, you can cover
some serious ground. Choose your level of comfort: the Cottage,
the Bunkhouse, or bring your own camper. Its horse camping made
easy.

The "Cottage" Quaint French country decor includes
refrigerator, microwave, Kuerig Coffee pot, and continental
breakfast. Nestled at
the edge of shaded woods, you'll share your outdoor space with
deer, fox, turkeys and, of course, horses. If you love animals
and nature you will love this space!

The "Bunkhouse" Comfortable without frills. A fun space
in the middle of things, the bunkhouse sleeps four cozily.
No running water or electricity places it just a step up from
camping, but is perfect if you prefer a warm bed and a roof over
your head.
